Prince Albert is the third biggest city in Saskatchewan, with a population of 35,926. However, despite ranking as the third most populous, the city is significantly smaller than Saskatoon and Regina.
The city is often nicknamed the “Gateway to the North,” has privilege to have Prince Albert National Park, located near the city and is renowned for its numerous lakes, dense forest cover, and diverse fauna.

Little Red River Park
1200 acres of natural area is located north of the North Saskatchewan River. Known for it’s beauty and serenity, while still within the city limits. The park is open year round and provides trails for bikers, hikers and skiers, depending on the season. The Park is a great destination for family outings & wiener roast.

Prince Albert Historical Museum
Museum operated by the Prince Albert Historical Society. It exhibits the history of the area in the city’s first firehall which was constructed in 1912 and served as such until 1975. On display are various First Nations artefacts, an old fire truck, a firemen’s pole, and a Native Dugout Canoe.

Northern Lights Casino
Northern Lights Casino, is a casino located in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. The 42,000 sq ft facility includes a Casino, lounge, and restaurant opened in 1996. The Casino opened a new 4,500-square-foot expansion in January, 2011 that included a smoking room, and 203 slot machines.
