The Alberta Legislature Building is the meeting place of the Legislative Assembly and Executive Council of Edmonton.
You can enjoy guided tours through this famous building where knowledgeable Heritage Interpreters share the political history and culture of Alberta and the daily routine. The tour also takes an in-depth look at the design and architecture of the building and the parliamentary traditions and ceremonies that take place within it.
Beginning in the Legislature rotunda, tours accommodate visitors of all ages and cover topics related to the levels of government; the roles of the Lieutenant Governor, Premier, Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly; Alberta’s political history; the Daily Routine of the Legislative Assembly; parliamentary tradition and the art and architecture of the building.
In-person public tours of the Legislature Building return on Saturdays from 12 to 3 p.m. starting on March 26.
