Mackenzie King Estate
per person
Once the summer home of Canada’s longest-serving prime minister, this 231-hectare (571 acre) property in Gatineau Park country estate belonged to Canada’s 10th and longest-serving prime minister, William Lyon Mackenzie King. After spending almost 50 years (1903–1950) beautifying and expanding his property, King bequeathed his beloved estate to all Canadians.
Spend the day enjoying nature and history, just a 20-minute drive from downtown Ottawa. Admire the architectural ruins that King collected and reconstructed here, and explore the network of forest trails.
