Manitoba Children’s Museum

Housed in the oldest surviving train repair facility in Manitoba, the museum features twelve permanent galleries that spark kids’ creative learning and and encouraging their imagination.
Non-profit, charitable children’s museum located at The Forks in Winnipeg, opened in 1983, is housed in the historic Kinsmen building, formerly Canadian National Railroad’s engine repair depot.
Visitors can hop aboard the authentic 1952 diesel locomotive and 1910 Pullman passenger coach, explore the five-storey tall Lasagna Lookout, test their perceptions in the giant Illusion Tunnel and perform water experiments in Splash Lab !
There are several exhibits at the museum stimulating the interest of young children.
During the Christmas season, the museum has a Santa’s Village.
