Stoneham Mountain Resort has a peak elevation of 593 metres above sea level and a vertical drop of 345 metres.
At the beginning of the 60’s, over twenty ski amateurs are invested and created three ski trails and two ski lifts at Stoneham.
Stoneham Tourist Resort gained international recognition in 1984 with the first ever Freestyle Ski World Cup, followed by several other high caliber competitions. The sublime consecration comes in 1993 with the presentation of two events of the World Cup (slalom and giant slalom).
The geographical situation of the site offers exceptional snow conditions and protects skiers from the wind, in addition to offering a fabulous decor. Today, there are 41 trails covering 333 hectares over four mountains.
